Can someone translate this English/spanish for me?

I want to say "The stars at night, are big and bright. Deep in the heart of Texas." to a co-worker.



I looked up the translaton on google language tools and this is what they gave me.



"las estrellas en la noche ser grandes y brillantes. Profundamente en el corazón de Tejas"



How accurate is this? If it isn't very good, can someone tell me the correct way pleaseCan someone translate this English/spanish for me?
Some of the answers that were given to are close but they have little mistakes. You would say:



"Las estrellas de la noche son grandes y brillantes. Están profundas en el corazón de Texas."



All of the endings of the adjectives need to match the nouns. For example, profundas matches estrellas because deep is describing the stars.



Your translation says "ser" which means "to be." It is not conjugated and should say "son." Also profundamente means deeply.



One more thing, although Texas is pronounced differently you would not spell it differently. Tejas means "you tile" from the verb "tejar." It means to tile a roof. Its like the pronunciation of mexico, you pronounce the "x" like an english "h" or a spanish "j" but you dont spell it with a "j".

well i am half spanish and english i can speak 2 languages. the sentence you have translated in google it 's right but we can write in the other types in spanish. 1 words its have alots means but it axactly right what you have translated , and they mean same english sentence.
No its not well, dont trust google languages, they are not so accurate.



The best way to say it is:

"Las estrellas en la noche son grandes y brillantes. En el profundo corazón de Texas".



Its kinda poetic so the meaning its more important then translating like it is. The google translation you got there its the translation in english of:



The stars in the night are big and bright. Profoundly inside the heart of Texas.

(We got 2 different types of verb at your equivalent verb "To Be", in this case google got the wrong one).

Here's my own version: "Brillantes y Enormes son las estrellas en la noche, del corazón más profundo de Tejas."



Sounds a whole lot better than google's, doesn't it?



Note to the answerer below: profunDO ends in DO because it modifies CORAZON not estrellas... please read before you comment. Tejas and Texas are both current transliteration for the state of Texas.

Oswalds is very good but shd start profundo en el corazon de tejas the way he has put it means in the deep heart of texas and not deep in the heart but its only a silly mistake some of the others are good but some are really awful

remember that to translate properly u need to be able to think in both languages not just talk and write and thinking only comes after years of speaking both languages i must ask all of u wh read this and are not english/spanish thinkers to refrain from answering these type of questions because you are giving very wrong answers and misleading ppl..(no offence intended)

The translation you got is pretty much right on the money. Spanish can be translated so many ways, there are so many dialects, but the one you got is pretty good.
