What are some cool fun games to play in Drama?

For ages 12-14 year olds. Some new games, not like wink murder or charades, anything new.What are some cool fun games to play in Drama?
I know loads of games there are lots.



Cat and mouse:

One person is the cat and the rest of the group are the mice people have to get in pairs and the cat has to catch the person who doesn't have a partner, the cat will then try and catch the mouse if the mouse latches onto another pair the person on the end of the pair is then the mouse and if the cat catches the mouse the mouse then becomes the cat and the cat becomes the mouse.



Conga catch:

2 people hook arms with each other they then have to run around after the other players without letting go of each other if one of the catchers togs someone the have to then join the catchers the game then gets harder throughout the game because the line gets longer which make it harder to get away from them.



Zip, zap, Boeing:

The group stand in a circle one person then say zip zap or Boeing if they say zap they have to point to a person next to them, if they say zap they can shoot someone away from them and people can only go Boeing if someone shoots them it then shoots it back at the player who shot them and they then have to go again if a person hesitates or says the wrong word while doing the wrong action they are out, at the end when you are left with 2 players you get them to stand back to back you then tell them for example I am going to say vegetables if I say anything else you have to shoot the other player as fast as possible as soon as you say something that isn't a vegetable both players have to turn to each other and go bang the first person who does this is the winner.



Space jam:



Put 2 people in the middle of a group of people in a circle they them have to do a min acting scene then another person in the group has to go STOP! the 2 people in the middle will then stop and stay in the positions they were in, the person who stopped them then has to go ad take one of the actors out and take their place then does a different mini scene.



My favourite is Space jam usually my teacher sets us a kind of thing to act like comedies or crying scenes depending on the project we are focusing on.

it's v. fun.



-appoint one person as blood potato when everyones eyes are shut.

-turn off all the lights

-the person has to walk around the room eyes shut (so does everyone else!)

-when the person touches another then they have to whisper 'blood potato' AND THEY"RE OUT!

-the person thats out has to scream then shift to the side (they may open their eyes)



to make it harder you can get the others to also whisper something when they touch eg. potato



when they get good use more people as the muderer! e.g 2

a game my theatre group in high school created a game called "how'd you end up in prison?".



the premise of the game: two people sit across each other. one person is the prisoner, the other a visitor. there's an imaginary soundproof pane of glass between you and the visitation phone isn't working. the prisoner must mime their crime to their visiting loved one. at the end of the game, the visitor must guess what the crime was.

1. one time, our teacher made us all walk around in any direction, and we had to choose two people. one person was our 'bomb' and we had to avoid them, and one person was our 'safe' and we had to stay as close to them as possible. BUT you weren't allowed to let them know who you were. when the teacher said 'freeze' you had to freeze (obviously) and then you had to guess who's 'safe' or 'bomb' you were. if you were right, they were out. whichever three was in at the end, won!
